The custom built product photography studio at Matthew Brown Photography is a state of the art facility designed to get the most stunning images of your products.

With a variety of lighting options featuring full LED lighting with various softbox sizes and light tents, every potential object and angle can be dealt with.

Add to this the included clipping path and colour editing you can expect to receive images that can be used in all e-commerce, brochure or advertising scenarios.

Matt uses ultra-modern technology to ensure every part of the image is sharp and in focus. The files will be supplied with the product on a transparent background for you to place over anything you would like, with Matt's unique natural shadow technique meaning your subject will aways match its environment.

Pricing is £70/hour with simple single shot jobs starting from as low as £10. Prices for larger jobs can be negotiated so please get in touch.

The images below show how an object is taken from the original picture shot on a grey vinyl background, through the product removed from its background with transparent surroundings and ending up on a leather background with a natural shadow.

Please note that the principal photography is usually done on a mid grey so as to avoid fringing when placed on very bright or very dark backgrounds, but black or white is also available as these can be useful if the client does not want any editing to reduce costs.

Also note that the leather background of the final picture is the choice in this instance, but it can be placed on any potential background.

The second set of images below show the same picture of the saddle, but with the saddle leather changed to the three colours it is available in. This is particularly useful if only one version is available at the time of shooting, if time or funding is limited or if a new colour of the product is released at a later date and needs to be added to the catalogue or website quickly.

It also guarantees the exact positioning of each version for a uniform took, something that is essential if a live colour picker is available on your website. In this case, no one leather saddle is exactly the same as another and it would be impossible to get each version to sit in the precise postition each time, so this method not only ensures constancy, but actually reduced the cost of the pictures.

These are just two regularly used methods by Matthew Brown Photography to make sure you have the very best images of your products as possible and it's always useful to remember how many potential options are available to you by using the services of a professional photography studio.
